Dosthi - Community Guidelines

These guidelines help us maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment for everyone. By using Dosthi, you agree to follow these rules. Violations may lead to warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account removal.

1. Be Respectful & Kind
* Treat other users with kindness, respect, and empathy.
* Harassment, bullying, or hate speech of any kind is not allowed. This includes insults, slurs, or language targeting someone's race, religion, gender, orientation, or other protected traits.
* Do not threaten, intimidate, or coerce other users.
* Avoid personal attacks or demeaning remarks.

2. Be Honest & Real
* Use your true identity: upload real photos of yourself (no impersonation) and provide accurate profile information.
* Do not misrepresent your age, gender, or intentions. False profiles are strictly prohibited.
* Use genuine pictures - no copyrighted images, celebrities, or stock photos.

3. Appropriate Profile Content
* Do not include explicit sexual content or nudity. Public profile photos should be appropriate.
* Avoid sharing personal contact information (e.g., phone number, email, social media) in your public profile.
* Respect intellectual property: only upload content (photos, texts) that you own or have the right to share.

4. Communication Etiquette
* Be thoughtful in your messages - don't spam or copy-paste the same message to many users.
* Don't pressure others for personal information, photos, or offline meetings.
* Respect boundaries: if someone expresses discomfort or asks you to stop, do so immediately.
* Do not solicit money, intimate favors, or engage in any illegal activity through chats.

5. Safety & Privacy
* Never share highly sensitive personal data (home address, financial details) in public.
* Be cautious while meeting people for the first time: choose public places, let someone know where you're going, and trust your instincts.
* Use the in-app reporting feature if you feel unsafe or if someone violates these guidelines.
* We may verify photos or profiles to ensure authenticity and safety of the community.

6. Illegal or Harmful Behavior
* Any illegal activity (fraud, selling illicit goods, violence, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
* Do not promote self-harm, violence, or content that encourages others to harm themselves.
* Impersonation, non-consensual content sharing, or using someone's personal information without their permission is forbidden.

7. Reporting & Enforcement
* If you experience or witness any violation (harassment, fake profiles, illegal content), please report the user immediately.
* Our moderation team will review reports carefully and act based on the severity of the violation.
* Penalties may include: warning, temporary suspension, or permanent account ban.

8. Mutual Consent & Respect
* Healthy conversations are built on mutual consent and respect. Do not force topics, photos, or meetings if the other person is not comfortable.
* If you decide not to continue a conversation or don't want to meet someone - you can unmatch or politely communicate your decision.
* Ghosting isn't ideal - being honest and kind is always better.

9. Community Mindset
* We're building a positive, inclusive space - help us by being respectful, thoughtful, and genuine.
* Your behavior reflects on the entire Dosthi community. Treat others how you would like to be treated.
* Remember: safety is a shared responsibility. We rely on everyone to follow these guidelines so the app remains a trusted place.

10. Updates to Guidelines
* We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time.
* Significant changes will be communicated via the app.
* Continued use of Dosthi after updates means you agree to the new version of the rules.
