Welcome to Dosthi (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dosthi platform, in our mobile application (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, logging in, or using Dosthi in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility & Account Registration

1.1 Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use Dosthi.

1.2 Account Information: When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself. You must also keep your account information updated.

1.3 Single Account: One user = one account. You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your identity.

Use of the Service

2.1 Permitted Use: Dosthi is a platform to meet, chat, and build connections. You may use it only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.

2.2 Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use Dosthi for:

Illegal or unethical activities
Harassment, stalking, intimidation, or hate speech
Spam, fraud, or any scheme to solicit money
Impersonating others or using fake profiles
Sharing explicit, graphic, or pornographic content
Violating intellectual property or privacy rights of others
User Content

3.1 Your Content: You are responsible for all content you upload, post, or share on Dosthi (“User Content”). You grant Dosthi a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, and distribute your content purely to provide the Service.
3.2 Content Standards: You must not upload User Content that:

Violates any law or third-party rights
Is defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory
Promotes violence, terrorism, or hatred
Contains spam, viruses, or harmful code
3.3 Moderation & Removal: Dosthi reserves the right (but not the obligation) to review, refuse, or remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
Safety, Verification & Community Guidelines

4.1 Verification: We may ask you to verify your identity or photos to improve trust and safety.

4.2 Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both on and off the platform. Exercise caution: do not share extremely personal or sensitive information unless you are comfortable.

4.3 Reporting: If you see someone violating the rules, harassing you, or engaging in suspicious behavior, please report them. We’ll investigate and may suspend or remove accounts that breach these Terms.

Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Rights: Dosthi owns all rights, title, and interest in the Service, its design, software, and content (excluding your User Content). You must not copy, reproduce, or build upon our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

5.2 Your Rights: You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the license granted under Section

6.Payment, Subscriptions & Refunds

6.1 Paid Features: Some features of Dosthi may require payment (e.g., premium subscriptions). These will be clearly described and priced.

6.2 Payment Methods: Payments are processed through secure, third-party payment gateways. Dosthi does not store your complete card or bank details.

6.3 Refund Policy:

Subscription & Payments

At Dosthi Dating App, we offer premium subscription plans to enhance your experience and provide access to exclusive features.

Please read our refund policy carefully before purchasing any subscription.

No Refund Policy

All subscription payments made on Dosthi Dating App are final and non-refundable.

Once a subscription plan is activated:

No refunds will be issued for unused time, partial usage, or early cancellation.

Subscription fees cannot be transferred to another account.

No refunds are provided if the user decides to stop using the service after purchase.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
It is the user’s responsibility to manage or cancel their subscription through their app store or account settings.

Failure to cancel before renewal does not qualify for a refund.

Technical Issues

In rare cases of confirmed technical errors caused directly by the Dosthi platform (such as duplicate charges), we may review the issue and take appropriate action. This does not guarantee a refund.

Third-Party Payments

If you purchased your subscription through Google Play Store or Apple App Store, refunds (if any) are governed by their respective refund policies. Dosthi does not control or process third-party refunds.

Changes to This Policy

Dosthi Dating App reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website or app.

Termination

7.1 By You: You can delete your account anytime from the app or by contacting us.
7.2 By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, or conduct yourself in a way that poses risk to other users or the Service.
7.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends. However, your User Content may remain on Dosthi (unless you request deletion), subject to our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

8.1 “As Is” Service: Dosthi is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Service is error-free, uninterrupted, or always safe.

8.2 No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that you will find meaningful connections or that profiles are 100% accurate or authentic.

8.3 Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dosthi’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid Dosthi in the past 12 months (if any).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Dosthi (and its officers, employees, agents) harmless from any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on our app or website with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Goa, India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the competent courts of Panjim / Panaji.

Cancellation Policy

At Dosthi Dating App, all subscription plans are final and non-cancellable once purchased.

After a subscription is activated:

  • Users cannot cancel the subscription during the active billing period.

  • Premium features will remain available until the subscription expires.

  • No early termination or mid-cycle cancellation is allowed.

No Refund & No Cancellation

All payments made for subscription plans are:

  • Non-refundable

  • Non-cancellable

  • Non-transferable

This applies regardless of usage, inactivity, or change of mind.

Auto-Expiry Only

Subscriptions will automatically expire at the end of the selected plan duration.
Users will not be able to cancel or pause the subscription once it has started.

Third-Party Purchases

If a subscription is purchased via Google Play Store or Apple App Store, cancellation and refund policies are governed by those platforms. Dosthi does not control or override third-party subscription rules.

Dosthi Dating App reserves the right to change or update this policy at any time. Updated policies will be effective immediately upon posting.
